Tras su reciente concierto en el Carnegie Hall de Nueva York, la concertista de flauta italiana Luisa Sello ha sido invitada a impartir una Masterclass abierta al público en el Máster en Música UPV sobre técnicas extendidas de flauta el 5 de mayo a las 9 am en el aula B.4.4 del cuarto piso del Edificio 3N de la Facultad de Bellas Artes (pincha aquí para plano UPV):
EXTENDED TECHNIQUE ON THE FLUTE
The topic indagates how the avangard music could find its rooth in the XX century literature. The analisys of the Messiaen, Varèse and Stockhausen works gives a clear information how the Darmstadt School of the second half of ‘900 was the most important cultural movement for the developing of the New Music, above all with the flute repertoire and the extended techniques.
The lecture will give some live examples.
